Purposes and legal bases
Account and authentication
Creating and managing the user account, two-factor authentication and sessions. Data: name, email, hashed password and session history. Legal basis: user request to access the service and legitimate interest in securing accounts.
Connected trading service
Receiving TradingView webhooks, preparing routing to MT4, MT5 and cTrader, supervising robots and managing trading accounts during pre-launch tests. Data: account codes, access keys, order logs and risk parameters. Legal basis: user request to test the service and legitimate interest in reliability and security.
Support, security and pre-launch operations
Support tickets, contact requests, security logs and anti-abuse signals are processed to answer users, protect the service and improve reliability. Public paid subscriptions are not open during pre-launch; payment data will only be processed if paid plans open later and after the legal documentation is updated.
Audience and product measurement
The public site records first-party, cookie-free events such as page views, CTA clicks, language changes, outbound clicks, form starts and outcomes, conversion goals, scroll depth, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript errors and 404 pages. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding public-site performance, improving the onboarding path and protecting the service without advertising cookies.
Retention periods
Account data is retained while the account is active, then generally 3 years after closure. Security and authentication logs are generally kept for 1 year. Public traffic and first-party marketing events are kept for up to 180 days. Support tickets, contact forms and order execution logs are generally kept for 3 years after closure.
Recipients and processors
Access is limited to authorized TheConnector staff for service operation, support and maintenance. Transactional emails are sent through the configured mail service. No public payment processor is active for paid subscriptions during pre-launch.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some technical providers may process data outside the European Union. Where required, transfers must be framed by appropriate safeguards. If a payment provider is enabled later, this page will be updated before paid subscriptions open.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection where GDPR allows it. You may withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent. Under French law, you may also provide instructions about your data after death.
To exercise your rights, email support@theconnector.fr and clearly state the right you wish to exercise. A proof of identity may be requested. We reply within one month, extendable by two additional months for complex requests.
Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority. Before contacting the CNIL, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the matter amicably.

Data security
TheConnector implements appropriate measures including encrypted communications, password hashing, access controls, sensitive event logging and optional two-factor authentication.
