Install the MT4 EA

Install the current MT4 EA package, allow TheConnector WebRequest and enter only ACCOUNT_CODE and ROUTING_TOKEN.

# Install the MT4 EA

• Download the MT4 package supplied by TheConnector.
• Copy the EA into MQL4/Experts, then restart MetaTrader 4.
• Keep the terminal open, enable AutoTrading and attach the EA to the demo chart first.

# Allow WebRequest In Tools > Options > Expert Advisors, allow WebRequest for:

# Expected settings Enter only these technical fields:

ACCOUNT_CODE=YOUR_ACCOUNT_CODE
ROUTING_TOKEN=YOUR_ROUTING_TOKEN

The TheConnector endpoint is built into the standard package. No server address is entered in the normal build. Use a custom build only when support provides one.

# Demo check Send one TradingView alert to a demo account and check the dashboard delivery status, the EA journal and the broker symbol. TheConnector routes instructions; it does not replace your broker, strategy, volume rules or risk management.
