What changes with TheConnector

An honest difference first: TheConnector does not interpret plain-English strategies and does not backtest. Your entry and exit logic moves to TradingView — Pine Script or alert conditions — and TheConnector receives the webhook, fixes broker symbols and executes on the selected MT4, MT5 or cTrader account, with each step visible (Received, Routing, ACK, Delivered). In exchange you get a tool that is not tied to any broker deal: the free Basic tier is permanent, hosted in France/EU, and works with the broker you already use.

Can TheConnector run my plain-English strategies?
No. Capitalise.ai's natural-language engine and backtesting do not exist in TheConnector. The strategy logic moves to TradingView (Pine Script or alert conditions, with TradingView's own backtesting), and TheConnector handles the execution leg: receiving the webhook, mapping symbols and routing the order to MT4, MT5 or cTrader.
Which platforms does TheConnector support?
MT4, MT5 and cTrader, from the same dashboard, and it can replicate one signal across them from the Pro tier. Capitalise.ai connected through broker integrations; TheConnector connects through an EA (MT4/MT5) or a cBot (cTrader) on the account you choose, with the broker you already have.
How long does the migration take?
For a simple strategy (one symbol, fixed volume, SL/TP), expect well under an hour: create the free account, install the EA or cBot, copy the webhook URL into a TradingView alert and send a test.
