One setting for everything, or one per pair
Gold does not breathe like EURUSD, and a trailing distance that suits one strangles the other. TheConnector lets you run a single global configuration when that is enough, or give each pair its own trailing distance, its own activation threshold and its own break-even trigger when it is not.
Global mode, and per-pair mode
In global mode you set one trailing distance, one activation threshold and one break-even trigger, and they apply to every symbol the account trades. In per-pair mode you list the symbols that need their own values; anything not listed is simply not trailed, which keeps the behaviour explicit rather than guessed.
Switch between the two modes without losing the other one's settings
A pair configuration carries its trailing distance, its activation threshold and its break-even trigger
Thresholds in percent of price travel across instruments without re-tuning by pip value
Why the robot manages it, not the alert
A trailing stop driven by alerts only moves when a candle closes and a webhook is delivered. Managed inside the robot, it follows the price on your terminal and keeps working through a quiet market, an alert you forgot to configure, or a TradingView plan that limits how many alerts you can run.
Follows the price between two candles, not only at their close
Does not consume a webhook from your daily quota
Applies to positions the connector opened, whatever sent the original signal
What it does not do
The trailing moves your stop in one direction only, and never further from the price than the distance you set. It does not add to a position, it does not remove your stop, and it does not decide when to enter. It is a stop management tool, and the result of a trade still depends on the market and on your broker's execution.
The stop only moves toward profit, never away from it
Break-even and trailing can be used together or one without the other
No performance is promised — only that the stop is managed as you configured it
